OK, you win, I'll include a feature that allows players to disable this
behavior in the next release 8-)

However, I'm on vacation for some time now, so it won't be ready until
"some" time. 

BTW, someone suggested on the neanderthal web-chat on ufoot.org that it
might be a good idea if the server would play a little "beep" when
someone connects. I think this is a good idea. I also think it could be
enlarged to something like "server launches a program when a client
connects". This would allow people to set up the behavior of their
choice on a connection, be it a popup window, a .wav file playing, an 
email being sent... Maybe I could also develop a small basic app that
watches the metaserver backend and does the same kind of things (either
a default beep or launching a custom program). This would be usefull to
know *when* someone is online.
