Suppose I patch the wx sources as in r70012 before building--would
that be another effective workaround? It's only a three-line change,
and the wxCRIT_SECT_DECLARE_MEMBER and wxCRIT_SECT_LOCKER macros
seem to be defined in wx/thread.h already.
