I've understood from the documentation that a page is just another object in
lout, and that a galley is just a series of page objects. I wonder how lout
knows that a page is really a page, and that the PostScript page header
needs to be emitted. I've tried to browse the code to find this out but
haven't found it yet. Does anybody know?
