What is the highest version of Pthread library available for Freescale’s i.mx27? Compliance with the 2.6.22_mx kernel – does it matter - ?

What’s in current tar-ball and where to find the most-up-to-date one?

I understand Pthread lib has support for the user space threads only – could someone confirm?
