Follow-up Comment #1, bug #19443 (project lwip):

Good idea.

Only comment would be call it something other than do_newpcb() - that name
suggests you can invoke it by sending a "NEWPCB" message through the api,
whereas this is just a little helper function for some of the other do_*
functions.
