Follow-up Comment #24, task #14128 (project lwip):

I think the only valid reason to keep it as an option would be to get a small
stack vs. a faster stack. I don't know how much code is added by this patch,
but I think TCP has grown quite a but since 1.2.0 (just an example version to
compare to).
