If you check the developers list, you'll see they are busy trying to get
1.5 out
The current git head has many bug fixes, no new experimental stuff
afaik, except for advanced development in IPv6 and PPP.
You can get specific patches from Savannah to fit your needs

or you can run git head. Unless Simon or any of the other main
developers says otherwise, I bet you are safe.
