I assume Fote was meaning the lynx_cfg.h file here which is generated by
configure? This would make sense, so when bugs are reported by people who
have a binary, if they have a copy of userdefs.h and lynx_cfg.h it is
possible to understand how that binary was compiled.
There should be some text that comes together with the binary, like "Keep
a copy of these files for reference, they will help if you run into
problems and have to ask for help or want to report a bug".
