Please, don't modify any file created by the user of lynx UNLESS it is
in some form being directly obtained by lynx.

In other words, if lynx calls some external editor or mail program to
get info from the user, don't modify lynx to presume to know that it's okay
to modify the file that is created.

If lynx (in the case of email or news and no default editor being specified )
tries to create a simple text gathering 'editor', then it seems to me
that some mechanism for the user to specify that text can't be wrapped needs
to be provided.

Otherwise, attempting to send info that is column and spacing dependant becomes
impossible to send.
