I didn't - I think it's time to let you guys have a turn at it (I've been
looking at it too long & getting stale).  But the pre-release for 2.8 is
ready.

I've made a new thread in PRCS (2.8pre) for the pre-release version,
updated Jim Spath's scripts that automate the 'current' directory.  (I
think patch-o-matic still has problems with filenames, but not today).
