However, I was able to retrieve agg-2.5.tar.gz from the web archive:
http://web.archive.org/web/20120508225127/http://www.antigrain.com/agg-2.5.tar.gz
I put the file in mxe/pkg/ and now the make file is happy to compile.
BTW, what is the use of the agg package?
