=================== BUG #2021: FULL BUG SNAPSHOT ===================
Submitted by: donkey-rider Project: mldonkey, a free e-Donkey
client
Submitted on: 2002-Dec-19 05:11
Category: Core Severity: 5 - Major
Bug Group: None Resolution: None
Assigned to: None Status: Open
Release: 2.00 Release: 2.01-3
Platform Version: Linux i386-i686 Binaries Origin: Downloaded from
Savannah
Summary: Donkey fails to get block 1 of split downloads
Original Submission: Running Donkey for several days after updating from 1.16.
All files started in 1.16 finished, all files started
in 2.01 have all blocks except 1 of X done. Several show
as available on queued clients. As clients connect and
allow download of block 1 of 1, mldonkey drops connection.
I have over 12 files, all with 90+% done, missing part
1 of X.

There is solution to this in comment to bug 1472
Quote:
Had the same problem on Linux-586 version. It would get
all but block 1 of X, and would cycle connections after
that. Other clients would queue, offer, and be rejected.
Turns out, I had to do two things:
set random_order_download false
set new_upload_system false
As soon as I did that (and a kill and restart) the core
fired right up and all the ones stuck at missing 1 of X
all got block 1 and finished.
