I have build a small script for cron, example output:

Daily mldonkey build on uberhost (NetBSD 1.6 i386)

2002-10-07-22:54:45-UTC : starting cvs update
2002-10-07-22:54:50-UTC : copying a workdir
2002-10-07-22:54:51-UTC : starting ./configure
2002-10-07-22:55:04-UTC : starting gmake depend
2002-10-07-22:55:12-UTC : starting gmake distrib
2002-10-07-22:56:48-UTC : copying results into distdir
2002-10-07-22:56:48-UTC : removing workdir
2002-10-07-22:56:48-UTC : all done

Since this is only a dial-up-host with limited bandwidth your

If the changes to the Makefiles are commited i will change ,,make distrib'' 
to ,,make release release.static''.
