This usually happens when you cancel a file mldonkey is currently
downloading and that has active sources transferring. mldonkey cancels
and deletes the file but if a source is still sending data your os
will make the file reappear...

to avoid this pause the file until you see no more active sorces,
then cancel it and use close_fds command.
