OK, we'll look on it ... we're working on final M/Monit-2.0 and
Monit-5.0 release now, so it will be candidate for Monit-5.1 most
probably.
As workaround you can use mountpoint instead of device.

However monit does not support by-uuid giving an access error. The
reason for this is, I assume, that /dev/disk/by-uuid/
484a2f10-2f70-46b5-b235-f63d55b5ccef is a symlink pointing to ../../
sda1 and not a real device itself.
Please support symlinks as devices. Thanks!
