Mea culpa.  When I was doing the partial merge of the main() cleanup, I 
accidentally removed those tests.  They're back in now, but I've just
noticed that another section of the cleanup that I didn't think was
needed actually was; without it, if there are conflicting options in the
nanorc and at the command line, the nanorc gets precedence.  I'm a bit
busy at the moment; I'll fix it (and update nanomiscbugs2a to account
for the new additions to nanorc.sample) as soon as I can.
