Sorry for the silence the past few days; I've been without electricity
for the past few days due to the hurricane coming through and I just got
it back yesterday.
I've looked over the current CVS some more, and I made a few more minor
changes. Specifically, I removed the abcd() function, since it's been
unused since the low-level input overhaul, and did a few minor cosmetic
cleanups.
Since nobody has complained about any significant bugs in CVS for the
past few days, and I haven't found any significant bugs that (a) I'm
sure are not caused by the myriad patches I'm applying to my local
builds or (b) can't be fixed now without a major rewrite of yet another
section of code (e. g. press Up at a blank search prompt with no
history, type in a string, and then watch the search string preservation
routine screw up when you try to scroll up or down in it), I'll test it
a bit more to be sure that it's relatively stable (as stable as an
unstable release should be, anyway). After that, it should be good
enough to release as 1.3.0.
