To assuage possible fears: I'm not planning to add anything more.
In my eyes nano has become feature-complete after the addition of:

1)  a working undo;
2)  Ctrl-left and Ctrl-right bindings;
3)  findprevious and findnext;
4)  cutwordleft;
5)  savefile.

The first three I use on a daily basis, the fourth sometimes.
To the fifth I can't get used: ^O Enter is too ingrained.
(Only when I mistype Enter once again am I reminded of the
existence of ^S.)

But what *is* your vision?
