There are some days that Savannah is sleeping or slow.  I forget
whether it is Fridays or Mondays or some random day.  It is working
fine at the moment, for me.

Patch was applied to git, 8a5b4f6, and pushed.  Thanks.

It was improved upon in c6ec435 -- this is what I meant with
getting rid of duplicated code: the browser_init() and qsort().

Next step would be to get rid of the multiple occurrences of
opendir().
