        :-) Could you please describe your configuration ? STL version, 
operating system etc.

        For the record I'm using the CVS tree of yesterday and STL-4.5
under Debian GNU/Linux unstable. The text is readable and I do not see
the dynamic_cast<T>(o) asserts. But I do see the particle assert.
