[Netsukuku-vala] Building the Ntk-Vala

Hi,
I am trying to build this vala source, I get an error :

utils.vala:33.21-33.45: error: Assignment: Cannot convert from `int64' to 
`GLib.Variant?'

I get slightly different errors when using different build options, but 
i think it's down to this one.
I never used vala before, i guess i might be missing some types. Anyway. 
I would like to contribute whatever little time i have to this project.
I'll probably mess around with this, maybe i'll just try and change the 
return type to int64 or something else... we'll see
