Follow-up Comment #10, bug #34725 (project octave): To avoid having to know what sed options are acceptable on various platforms, I checked in this change instead: http://hg.savannah.gnu.org/hgweb/octave/rev/4cf7356a99d0 You can disable building the documentation if you like using the configure option --disable-docs.
