Follow-up Comment #1, bug #35157 (project octave):

I think that working (especially with the Capital Letters) may be a little
insulting to most Octave users, as if they didn't know what complex numbers
are. I can't imagine any Octave user thinking that "complex scalar" means
"complicated scalar". Do you have any evidence that such a user exists?
