Follow-up Comment #7, bug #40064 (project octave):

Our e-mails were nearly simultaneous (9 second difference).  Yes, I think
you're right.  The text objects should inherit from the legend axis.

But, as a second question, should we default the interpreter property to 'tex'
to be in line with the other objects?
