Follow-up Comment #13, bug #40545 (project octave):

For the track record, when I exit the preferences dialog by pressing "esc" I
see the following warning:


2013-11-24 19:17:30.021 octave-gui[17565:d07] modalSession has been exited
prematurely - check for a reentrant call to endModalSession:
