Follow-up Comment #3, bug #41522 (project octave):
I added a patch that automatically adds a .m extension and allows the User to
change it (in GUI mode), but in CLI mode a User who doesn't want the .m needs
to use his editors save as.. function, which might be a hassle if one needs to
do it often.
