Details:
If I try to print a figure to a graphics file (I have tried PDF and EPS), the
resulting graphics is a solid black rectangle. Opening the graphics file in a
vector graphics editor program reveals that the rectangle covers the lines
originally included in the plot. However, the line color is lost (it's all
black and white instead of colored lines).
Here's a code example
> plot (rand(5,1))
> print ('test.pdf')
--> The resulting file (test.pdf) contains the graphics as described above.
(This is on Mac OS X 10.10)
