Follow-up Comment #24, bug #44478 (project octave):

@Jose: I'm attaching a patch to test the idea of enabling the feature before
testing for it.  Can you apply, rebuild, and then see if Octave still
segfaults?

Instructions:

1) download glenable.diff
2) From top-level Octave source directory,
   cd libinterp/dldfcn
3) patch < glenable.diff
4) cd ../../
5) make
6) ./run-octave -f --no-gui
7) test __osmesa_print__.cc
