Details:

To reproduce:

1. Write some code.
2. Select some lines of code.
3. Press F9 to run them.

Expected results:

   All code runs instantly (plus actual computing time).

Observed results:

   Each line is slowly executed way more slowly than it should take. Slowness
is independent of the code. It takes roughly 200ms per line, and lines do
appear one at a time in the Command History window.
