Follow-up Comment #2, bug #45813 (project octave): No. filesep() returns a backslash which is the correct separator on Windows. But all backslashes have been converted to slashes by canonicalize_file_name(). So the splitting fails, because there are no backslashes in the canonicalized filename. To me this seems like an error in the installation script.
