Follow-up Comment #3:
We need more information about this if something needs to be done in Octave's
Windows build. The Octave build for Windows is used by many and this problem
has not been reported by others, so what is it about the dll, or what is it
about your system that is flagging this dll as a problem?
The msys-1.0.dll that is installed with Octave is the current version of the
official dll provided by the msys project, downloaded from here:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/mingw/files/MSYS/Base/msys-core/msys-1.0.18-1/msysCORE-1.0.18-1-msys-1.0.18-bin.tar.lzma
If you download and extract that dll does the same error occur?
