Follow-up Comment #5, bug #49520 (project octave):
Absent any response from the OP in the next couple of days, I would say close
it.
It sounds like the OP is saying that running ./configure --enable-64 did not
automatically use the OpenBLAS library, but running ./configure --enable-64
--with-blas=openblas did, which I find strange and a possible bug if it were
true. There is no config.log or configure output here to confirm what it is
that configure tested and what exactly failed or succeeded, so we have no way
of proceeding.
