Follow-up Comment #1, bug #50538 (project octave): On the second point. I don't believe any of the Qt binding take effect *within* the command window. They are effective in the other parts of the application. For example, I set "Ctrl+A" to be select all. If I enter the Documentation Tab and do "Ctrl+A" it selects all the documentation.
