Follow-up Comment #17, bug #50640 (project octave): Guillaume: So, if I'm understanding correctly: If the display method is defined to have 2 arguments, Matlab does call it with 2. The second argument contains the name of the first argument, but inputname can't access the name of the second argument. And if the display method is defined to have only one argument, Matlab calls it with 1 argument.
