Details:
I had this in the back of my mind months ago when we were working on bug
#52150.
If the user builds Octave with --with-system-freefont=/usr/share/fonts/x/y/z,
then that path should get encoded into liboctinterp when Octave falls back to
using the FreeSans fonts. Also the 'make install' rules should not install our
duplicate copy of the FreeSans font files if this option is present.
The default will remain the way it is now, with Octave installing and using
its own private copy of the FreeSans fonts.
