Follow-up Comment #107, bug #53276 (project octave):

I have not mentioned the file editor but the file browser.

As I can see, the special handling of the editor in focus_changed () is still
there (which is good as long there is no replacement). However looping over
the focus chain is just a fallback if the widget that has focus is not a child
of a dock widget.
