Update of bug #54692 (project octave): Status: Need Info => Wont Fix Open/Closed: Open => Closed _______________________________________________________ Follow-up Comment #3: I would rather remove the function 'isfolder' completely and stick to using terminology dealing with 'dir' and 'directory', but it seems that MathWorks decided to fix a problem with 'isdir' by creating a new function 'isfolder' and deprecating 'isdir' instead of just fixing it in 'isdir' itself.
