Follow-up Comment #6, bug #54621 (project octave): I would also point out that the function linked (https://de.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/fileexchange/30622-non-wait-detection-of-keyboard-input-including-mex-implementation) is not part of Matlab, but is a function contributed by a user. What does Matlab's input function do in a similar situation? What is the definition of "interactive" here?
