Follow-up Comment #7, bug #55282 (project octave): @Mike, Regarding qvairant.h, I think this is the problem. There is no QtCore sub-directory in /usr/local/Cellar/qt/5.12.0/lib/QtCore.framework/Headers. Meanwhile /usr/local/opt/qt/include/QtCore is a sym-link to /usr/local/Cellar/qt/5.12.0/lib/QtCore.framework/Headers.
