Update of bug #56075 (project octave): Status: Confirmed => Patch Submitted _______________________________________________________ Follow-up Comment #7: I'm attaching a patch which removes the initialization of PS4 to "" in the GUI. This restores parallel behavior between the GUI and the CLI. I did not change the initialization of PS2 to "". It seems that this is more useful because a for loop or other long entry in the Command Window can be copied and pasted in to Octave to run again as long as the PS2 prefix character is "". If this were made consistent with the CLI then there would be a request that our paste buffer routine weed out the PS2 prefix so that copy/paste was a simple affair. I don't need to create a new work burden so I left PS2 as is.
