Follow-up Comment #28, bug #56097 (project octave):
@Dieter: Sorry that this borked your system.
On the positive side, with Kai's hint I re-configured the build with the
'--without-qscintilla' option. After building, I can confirm the hang that
Dieter is experiencing. I'm going to try the patch now and see if it resolves
the issue.
