Indeed, that's why I added the same check both as a test and as a demo.
- the test checks that axes properties are set correctly
- the demo allows one to check whether the graph looks one to check whether the
plot looks as expected
it would be nice to avoid code duplictation in the demo and test blocks, but I
don't see how that could
be done...
