I have never experienced that it does not work.

I have no objection to moving it to any better place, if it means better availability. All my important, personal projects have been moved away from Google Code onto my own server, because I prefer being in control over my data. The reason qterminal is still is hosted there is that I did not want to break it up for all the people building octave relying on it.
