I understand. I'm just suggesting that rather than try to come up with some callback to send data, that down the road such features as editing data can be gotten in a more general way. I suppose there are some inefficiency in sending data back and forth via command. But if what is being modified is some big matrix, and feature that displays that will be equally intensive, such as loading a Qt model and viewtable.
