GNU Octave Contribution

I am working on Scilab now, developing tools for it.I want to do the same for Octave. I want to contribute to GNU OCTAVE on an open source platform. I know C++, C, Python, HTML, CSS, JS and Django. I am very keenly interested in working for GNU Octave, and develop tools for it, make it competent to Matlab.

Please assign me a suitable task, and i am ready to give more than 8 hrs a week for it.
