Follow-up Comment #9, patch #9084 (project octave):

I do not know if the str2double item in module.mk is correct (Mike?) - it
should be in the dist but probably not in the final installation.

If other reviewers more knowledgeable with Qt internals approve (see Mike's
points 3 & 4 in comment #2) I think this cset can be pushed. It is a valuable
addition IMO. It does work fine in Windows and Mageia linux.

Mike, who could say s/th on your Qt-related comments?
