Follow-up Comment #7, patch #9440 (project octave):

I agree, I think we should focus on making this work with the default branch
so that Octave 4.4.0 can be built as a Flatpak out of the box.

I'll take care of renaming the appdata and desktop files. I'll also try to get
some time to get a Flatpak development environment set up so I can actually
test this. Then maybe we can look at iterating on adding more libraries like
SuiteSparse and FFTW.
