[Openvds-devel] newer glibc version needed!!

Hi there,

using freevsd1.4.6(rh7.0) I'm having the following problem now: I
recently tried to install the latest mysql3.23.47 into a virtual server
(where I have the patched glibc-2.2-12.i386.rpm), but installation
failed because of the glibc version (GCC3.0). Where do I get a new,
patched glibc version?? What about -devel, -common and -profile packages
for the newer glibc?

I guess we will all run into these problems in the future, because
nearly all newer packages which we might want to install into a vs will
be compiled with the newer glibc version.

Any suggestions welcome.
