[Perlpanel-devel] PerlPanel applet install system

Hi all,

I've been working on a system to let users quickly and easily install
third-party applets. It's a bit like the current GNOME theme install
system - you create a tarball which gets extracted into the right places
in the user's home directory.

I've documented the format for the packages in
perlpanel-applet-howto.pod - in current CVS, or at

http://jodrell.net/projects/perlpanel/documentation

Still not finalised, comments welcome.
