To recap:
Go into Header Admin.  You don't need to make any changes.  Save it.
Go into Setup/Config Admin and Edit Current Configuration.
Change Datetime port to something different.  Submit it.

Check your calendar.  If it works, your done.  If not, then go back to 
Setup/Config
and change Datetime port to something different again.

This is the process I had to go through to get mine working after that CVS 
update.

I just noticed you are using PostgreSQL.  I'm using MySQL.  I don't know if that
makes a difference.
